Strategically upgrade your walls, towers, and warriors. Defend your city from the attacks of elephants, siege guns and waves of enemy troops, covering the sky with arrows and fire. Defeat your enemies by clashing with Egyptian, Italian, Gallic, Iberian and Carthaginian warriors, and expand your empire across Europe and Africa. Conquer their cities and get chests with gems, gold, potions and maps! Defend your colonies and replenish your bank with gold. Become the leader that Rome claims to be.
Basic Rewards & Progression
- Completing 10 defense missions rewards you with 5 crystals 💎.
- After clearing 35 stages, you unlock a free hero, who can be upgraded using crystals.
- By progressing through colony conquest, you earn chests that randomly grant two cards.
- Cards provide one-time-use buffs such as damage or resource boosts ⚔️.
Colony Management Tips
- Upgrading colonies increases gold income per minute.
- However, colony upgrades require high early investment with very low returns, so they are not recommended early on ❌.
- Suppressing colony rebellions rewards additional crystals 💠.
General & Skill Upgrades
- Each time a general levels up, you receive 3 skill points.
- Skills offer different types of buffs, including combat and economy bonuses.
- In the early game, it is recommended to prioritize skills that increase gold gained from kills 💰.
Army Deployment Rules
- You can only deploy two armies at a time.
- After deployment, you must wait for the support cooldown before sending the next army ⏳.
Combat & Defense Strategy
- Choose counter units based on the enemy’s troop composition.
- If you cannot win a battle, you will need to upgrade your units.
- Failing a defense mission has no penalties, so early on you can skip upgrading defensive structures.
- Focus instead on unlocking and upgrading units as soon as possible 🚀.
Advanced Defensive Tactics
- After unlocking ranged infantry, you can adopt a wall-defense strategy.
- Upgrade the city walls to block enemy attacks.
- Let your ranged infantry accumulate inside the walls and overwhelm enemies with numbers for victory 🏹.
How To Play
Your task is either to defend the fortress or to attack! Release troops to attack or defend - they will fight automatically. To defeat the enemy, use various abilities and upgrade your warriors.
