Description
Summon Tribe is a merge-and-defense game where you place facilities, traps, and turrets on a grid to stop waves of enemies. 🏹
Because the space is limited, the key is to focus on upgrading a few powerful defenses through merging instead of filling the map with weak ones.
Early Game Setup
- Use your first few squares for basic turrets and maybe one economic or support facility if the game offers it, but do not let low-value buildings occupy too many tiles. 💰
- Place early turrets where they can cover long stretches of the path or corners so they shoot enemies for as long as possible.
Merging and Placement Tips
- Always merge identical structures when possible; merged turrets and facilities deal much more damage or give better bonuses than multiple low-level ones. ⚒️
- Keep an eye on free tiles: if the board is almost full, sell or merge badly placed, low-tier units so you always have room for new drops and merges.
Traps, Turrets, and Path Control
- Put traps, especially slow or damage-over-time ones, near the entrance or on tight bends so enemies stay longer under turret fire. ❄️🔥
- Use your strongest turrets in “kill zones” where several tiles of the path are within range, turning that area into a high-damage corridor.
Skills and Upgrades
- Spend early skill points on global bonuses such as extra damage, attack speed, or more resources, since these boost all your defenses over time. 📈
- After that, specialize in your main turret type: if one kind of tower does most of the work, upgrade its damage, range, and attack speed first to make it your main carry. 💥
Idle Play and Stuck Situations
- Before going idle, make sure your frontline has decent traps and your main kill zone is packed with upgraded turrets, with no obviously wasted tiles. 😴
- If you get stuck on a wave, try extending the path if the layout allows, adding more corners, and switching from many weak towers to fewer but higher-level merged ones.
